Oh, this family! I don’t even know where to begin with them. Some of you may recognize momma and the youngest from this post several months ago. This time, I was lucky enough to have all three of them come visit for the week. Biggest sister hadn’t ever played nerf guns before she came to our house….she kind of took it very seriously once she learned how to play though
I got the chance to take just she and her bestie, Carter to stuffed monkey, out is this amazing California summer sun and they did not disappoint!
We had an amazing you-pick-out-your-own-outfit-and-as-many-balloons-as-you-want beach session planned out. It was going to be epic. There was going to be dancing and singing and playing. Well, trick was on use because this three-year old had other ideas for us on this afternoon so we changed up our plan and laughed that these moments, while not exactly what we had envisioned, we so perfectly her.
One of my most favorite things about this part of my life is watching the women I know and love around me become parents and parent their children. So much can be learned by watching other people parent. SO much inspiration and love can be gained. I can’t tell you how much I take away from watching this momma parent these beautiful girls. She’s loving and tender yet firm and purposeful. There is intent to her teaching and even on the hard, long days, she sticks to her guns which is impressive beyond words.
These are lucky littles
I am so thankful for what this relationship has given me and simply, can’t wait to watch it continue to grow. Love all three of you girls!
