North Carolina, here we come!

Big big happening around here this past week! As most of you all know, we are a military family. We relocate pretty frequently. We always knew that coming out to beautiful Monterey was temporary and we found out this week that we will be moving back to North Carolina at the end of this year!!!
Big changes for my little business. Lots of change, lots of unknown but there is a comfort in going back to NC for us. We were stationed there for 7 years prior to coming out to CA so we feel very at home in Fayetteville. My family came to life in NC. We had all three of our boys in the same hospital, with the same dr and brough them home to the same first house. Not many military families can say that

We were so fortunate to enjoy our time there and watch our boys grow next to some of my favorite people in the whole world.

We were close to our families who all live in FL and got to live just down the street from my brother who was also stationed at Bragg for a couple of years. It was a perfect time to be there and one that I wouldn’t change for anything. It was time for a change and our 18 months in CA was welcomed but we are excited about going back.
So, what does this mean for JDP? Well, it means that along with the rest of my life, I will pick it up and move to Ft. Bragg. I’ll be serving the greater Fayetteville area-traveling up to Raleigh, over to Charlotte, down to Morehead City and available for travel beyond that should the opportunity arise! I will be booking weddings for the 2015 season as well as local portrait clients as well! Walking into a new market is always a challenge but it’s welcomed. I welcome the opportunity to meet new clients, make new connections and learn from other east coast photographers.
I’m excited about going back. We have grown so very much. My kids are bigger, our family is different and I have this amazing business to bring along now as well.
We became us in NC.
